![]() ![]() If you want an easier way to convert the NWF to an NWD without having to manually open Navisworks and resave it, you can use the BatchTools feature in the software or create a BAT file that uses the -nwd command line switch as described under Quick Start > Command Line Options in the Help topics of the software. You can then open that file in Freedom and view the daily updates along with the additional views that were included in the NWF. Since you are updating the NWD daily, which is why you want the ability to externally reference it, each time you update and resave that NWD, you’ll need to open the NWF file that references it and resave that to an NWD as well. To open an NWF, you'll need to run Simulate or Manage. There is no free viewer for NWF files nor an add-on to Freedom that allows it to open additional files other than NWD/DWF.
